Evening language courses in the City

In order to register for the programme please complete this form and return it as soon as possible.

  • The programme will be held at City Tower, Floor 14, 40 Basinghall Street London EC2V 5DE.
  • Classes will begin week commencing 22nd February for 9 weeks. The schedule is as follows:
    French: Monday or Wednesday Arabic: Wednesday or Thursday
    German: Tuesday Brazilian Portuguese: Monday or Wednesday
    Italian: Monday or Wednesday Japanese: Monday
    Spanish: Tuesday or Thursday Mandarin: Tuesday or Thursday
    Business English: Intermediate: Tuesday Russian: Tuesday or Thursday
    Business English: Advanced: Thursday  
  • Classes will be limited to no more than 10 participants and will include Group Tuition, 2 hour lesson per group per week for 9 weeks, training materials, feedback and testing for participants if required.
  • The course is based on active communication and will include role play and fluency practice.
  • The cost of the Language Programme will be £199 per delegate including VAT for French, German, Italian, Spanish and Business English, and £240 per delegate including VAT for Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian.
  • If minimum class sizes (4) are not achieved, the course will not be run and the full fee will be refunded within 3 weeks of the closing date for applications, which is 15th February 2010.
  • Please note, in addition to the class handouts a course book will be recommended to support learning. This cost is not included in the course fees. The cost of course books is £25 and they can be bought at the training centre on the first day of classes.

Payment Details

Payment for the programme must be made via PayPal when you apply for the course. Please click on the Make Payment button. Please click on the correct button according to which language you are applying for. It will take you to a PayPal payment page to make your payment and this will complete the registration process. You will get a confirmation of payment electronically from PayPal. In addition, you will receive an email from Linguarama confirming your course registration.

Evening language courses in the City are taught using the communicative approach and their success depends on your enthusiasm and participation. You will be introduced to phrases and role-plays, so please use this opportunity to acquire and practise the language. The classes will be conducted as much as possible in the target language. You may find this a little difficult to begin with but you will find that you will improve much faster if you embrace this teaching style!

After we have received your application we will contact you IF you need to be tested. Tests will be conducted by telephone. We will confirm by email the day on which your course is held as soon as possible after the closing date (15th February).
